Since 2019, I have produced all product photography, videography, brand imagery, and promotional content for MK Blades, a distinguished figure skating blade manufacturer based in Sheffield with a heritage dating back to 1910.

Celebrated for producing world-class, precision-engineered blades trusted by Olympic and World champions, the brand holds a prestigious reputation within the sport. As Head of Media, my responsibilities have gone beyond creative production, involving close collaboration with elite athletes, conducting interviews, and traveling internationally to create compelling content.

Elite Figure Skating Athlete Interviews
Directing, Editing, Cinematography

During the MK John Wilson Trophy in Sheffield, I had the opportunity to shoot and edit a series of interviews with MK Blades’ world-class athletes, capturing their insights, personalities, and passion for the sport.

One highlight was my interview with Oona & Gage Brown - we had a great connection at the rink, and I think that really comes through in the final video. It was a lot of fun bringing these conversations to life and showcasing the athletes in a more personal, behind-the-scenes light.

The project was a rewarding blend of documentary-style storytelling and polished brand content, and a real pleasure to work on.

One of my personal highlights in social media content creation was developing the annual April Fools' Day posts, which often went semi-viral within the figure skating community. I had full creative freedom each year, and the anticipation from our audience became a tradition in itself - people would regularly comment about how much they looked forward to the posts.

Over a six-year period, I expanded this style of creative, themed content to other key dates like Halloween, Valentine’s Day, Christmas, and Thanksgiving. These posts consistently resonated with the skating audience, often resulting in significant engagement spikes and an average growth of 10,000+ followers per high-performing post.
