I was commissioned to direct and create a fully 3D-rendered music video for Nottingham-based deathcore band AZAZEL, for their single "SELF INFLICTED." The band approached me with a clear vision for the project: they wanted the visual style to reflect the chaotic and unsettling themes of the track.
 

The brief called for a creepy, claustrophobic atmosphere set within a grimy, cluttered living room, with a lone subject embodying the emotional intensity of the song. As the track progresses, the visuals were to become increasingly psychedelic and surreal, mirroring the breakdown and descent conveyed through the music.
 

The result is a dark, atmospheric piece that blends horror-inspired environment design with glitchy, mind-bending effects - all synced to the aggressive energy of AZAZEL’s sound.
