Aura Skates
Since 2023, I’ve overseen all product photography, videography, brand imagery, and promotional content for AURA Skates. Following the company’s acquisition, I led the complete rebranding process, including the entirety of the web design and development.
During the transitional phase, before the final brand direction was established, I adopted a clean, minimal aesthetic, which later evolved into the pastel blue visual style the brand uses today. You can clearly see that transition in the artwork below!
Retail Educational Content
Videography, Video Editing, Motion Graphics
I was flown solo to Winnipeg to shoot a series of interviews and educational content for Aura Skates, focused on their technically advanced SKY range. Given the complexity of the product’s patented technology, the content needed to clearly communicate its unique features to both retailers and end users. I also designed subtle motion graphics for the Aura logo that added a cohesive visual identity to the series.
Following the release, Aura saw a significant improvement in how well retailers understood and explained the technology. I also created simplified versions of the content for customers, and within weeks of sharing these across social media, the skating community began answering questions about the boots themselves - suggesting that the videos had effectively educated and engaged the audience.
